Nigerian-French singer, and songwriter, Bukola Elemide, commonly known as Asa, has responded to renowned singer-songwriter Brymo’s request to collaborate on a record.

Over the years, fans have pleaded with the two legendary vocalists, songwriters, and performers to work together on a song, and it appears that their dream will soon come true.

On Wednesday, August 31st, 2022, Sonic star Brymo—who has, for the most part of his career, only released solo music—took to Twitter to express his desire to collaborate with the great Asa. He expressed the hope that this would happen soon.

He wrote:

I can’t wait to curate a tune or a few with Aṣa. You @Asa_official, are one I have dreamt, and still look forward to recording with… (and this is a cry for help, I’d love to do it soon…) lol”

Interestingly, the Nigerian-French songstress is equally interested in working with her sonic counterpart, as she revealed in her reply. she commented to the post:

In other news, Brymo has revealed the names of the new modern artists that he loves their music.

The Sonic artist named some of the talented Gen-Z acts, saying that he enjoys their music during a quick interview with Audiomack.

The former Chocolate City singer has named acts like Ayra Starr & Rema as the Gen-Z artists that he loves their music.

During a short interview with worldwide streaming service Audiomack, the incredibly talented singer and performer named Ayra Starr, Rema, Asa, Coldplay, and John Mayer as some of the artists on his current playlist.

Brymo, who will be hosting his annual live concert tagged “the order” in October, also made it known that part of his dream as a performing artiste is to see 40,000 people come to see him perform in his hometown, Lagos, Nigeria.
