While some new acts came to the limelight with amazing introductory projects (EP’s mostly), some gained momentum through hit singles or memorable collaborations. It’s really been a year.

Lojay

What Lojay had to offer was a breath of fresh air with a particularly unique style that combines witty lyricism and catchy sounds.

His debut, an EP titled “LV N ATTN,” is a 5-track collaboration with badass producer, Sarz.

The EP has not one but three hits and is definitely one of 2021’s best projects.

Ruger

The Jonzing World act has released two EP’s already this year, one of which houses one of the biggest hits of the year, “Bounce.”

Jaywillz came to the limelight after his contribution to Olamide‘s “UY Scuti” album.

Jaywillz’s own single “Medicine” has become quite the anthem too. In short, Jaywillz  no small inside life.

Fave, like Jaywillz, also started gaining mainstream attention after she was featured on Olamide’s album, about six months ago.

Her track, “Baby Riddim” has become quite the viral tune too, and the emPawa artist is starting to become a sensation. It’s really only a matter of time given how good she is.

Portable Omolalomi is the moniker by which the Yoruba-born rapper, singer, and songwriter are known in the industry.
